I always remember bad reviews. Well,...I dunno, man. I always remember bad reviews. Well, I remember people who I thought were completely irrational, but yeah- not every bad comment. I made the mistake of defending *ahem* Bloodletting once to this total dick who just wouldn't let up, and I realized it was a
big mistake afterwards. Ever since I tried not to respond to that sort of thing, I realized you do look like a whiner... and even if it's just to that one person that you respond, you can bet money they'll tell plenty of other people about it. It's not worth the headache or embarassment. Maybe a small point now and then to clarify something, but I do take it into account that maybe it was my screw up, maybe I should review what I'm doing. Crappy or lukewarm reviews still suck, though. I think critics need to be a bit more responsible about the shit they write, many are just showing off and going out of their way to cut people down ( I do believe that) and I disagree that no one ever remembers the particularly bad reviews. That's the whole point of them, to either encourage people to buy in or to not bother, right?

I do still feel the need to defend certain characters of mine, though... I hate it when people pick on them. Well, the one. Nobody seems to mind the others. : /

Good choice of CD, btw! San Francisco is my fave off that one. Always wanted to animate something to go with that, it sounds cartoony.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
