WE MAKE SEXY TIME

I have several new DVD reviews up this week, but only one theatrical, and I can't urge you enough to go see this movie. Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan is some truly funny shit. It's beyond the hype. Trust me.

DVD Reviews:
* The Fallen Idol: Criterion Collection, an awesome disc of the 1948 collaboration between Graham Greene & Carol Reed
* The Harry Smith Project: Live, a four disc set with a live concert DVD, two concert CDs, and a documentary about the man behind the Anthology of American Folk Music
* Humphrey Bogart: The Signature Collection, vol. 2, a large box set with four of Bogie's wartime movies and the new three-disc edition of The Maltese Falcon. This may be the most extensive review I've done.
* The Who: The Vegas Job, a DVD release of an excellent 1999 concert by one of my favorite bands

Current Soundtrack: The Submarines, Declare a New State!

Current Mood: artistic
