"I don't know how to put this, but I'm kind of a big deal."

People know me.

That's right. Jamie has an agent.

Baker's Mark Literary Agency.

They'll answer Jamie's scads of fan mail from now on.

Seriously, I'm pretty excited about this. It's time to step up my game, and so I went and found some people who hopefully understand sports metaphors, or at the very least can fake it like I can.

Smartly, they signed Joëlle Jones, as well. My guess is they just used me to get to her and Jamie will be dropped pretty shortly here.

Current Soundtrack: Arctic Monkeys, Favourite Worst Nightmare

Current Mood: superstar

Congrats!

Good call on First Snow. Your review sparked my interest to see it. Fantastic!

*sigh* Will your head even fit through the door at San Diego now? :)

(I'm just jealous that #1 you have an agent and #2 you have all of the new Arctic Monkeys...)

I don't know how final this Monkeys set is. One of the tracks is a live recording.

Are they quoting the same Clarence Day that wrote Life With Father? That alone makes me suspect they're cool.

Fan mail? Does every letter get a standard form letter and a 8x10 glossy? I want an 8x10 glossy.

At conventions, Jennifer, autographs are $5.00, or free if you buy the 8X10. Which costs $5.00.

do you really bring that much money to shows that you can afford to pay people $5 to take your autograph?
