THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD

I had two copies of Madman Atomic Comics #9, and I took them apart and re-aligned all of the double-page spreads so that the entire book was laid out end to end.

This issue was done as a series of continuous two-page segments. Like a tracking shot in a film, the background continues as one unbroken line with the characters moving through it. Read a review/analysis of it here.

All told, it's a 15 1/2' comic book panel. 28 pages, 14 double-page units. I barely had a long enough space in my apartment to capture the whole thing.

This is about 4 1/2 pages, or out of 14 double page spreads, or a little over 1/7 of the total comic book.

If you're small enough, the easiest way to read it is to just walk across it.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who's cats are interested in comics.

Audrey really never is far away, is she?

On one side of that Audrey book, her eyes are open, on the other, they are closed. I turn it around at night so she can sleep, and then wake her in the morning.
