THE KING OF KISSINGDOM

Two links.

* Greg McElhatton has posted an amazing review of 12 Reasons Why I Love Her at his new site, Read About Comics. Click this excerpt for the full deal:

"There’s no such thing as a perfect relationship. Popular culture likes to insist that there is, be it in books, comics, movies, or some other form of media. The reality, of course, is that relationships do have conflicts sooner or later; the real question isn’t so much how long until one hits that conflict, but rather how the people involved then deal with its resolution. I think that’s what hit me so much about Jamie S. Rich and Joëlle Jones’s 12 Reasons Why I Love Her; it’s a book that is as much about the good times as the bad times, but even more so it’s about how each of those extremes shift into the other."

* From the ever-awesome Usagi Yojibo Dojo comes the news of what those pages were that Andi Watson was showing off about a month ago:

"Usagi Yojimbo #100 - Special 100th Issue - According to Stan, this issue will feature story and art by guest creators Mark Evanier/Scott Shaw!, Publisher Mike Richardson/Rick Geary, Jamie Rich/Andi Watson, Guy Davis, Sergio Aragones, Jeff Smith, Frank Miller and, of course, Tom Luth did the cover colors (ensuring the entire Groo Crew is represented -- how wrong would that be if they weren't??). Editor Diana Schutz may do a page, and Stan himself will do 7-8 pages to bookend the other contributors. It will be a 32 pager, with a $3.50 cover price, wraparound cover on card stock, b&w interiors. Check out the awesome wraparound cover art, featuring co-stars Katsuichi, Tomoe Ame, Gennosuke, Jotaro, and Inspector Ishida!!! RYAAAA!!!"

I think it's on sale in January.
